Go Beyond Your Borders

Through exploration, adventure, and physical challenge, SRA's Middle School Trips Program develops students’ self-confidence, sense of personal responsibility, understanding of community, and appreciation for the natural world.

Off-campus education is an integral part of the Middle School experience at SRA. Each fall, students participate in an overnight, off-campus trip. During their Middle School years, students will travel to Washington DC, learn about marine biology and ecology on Jekyll Island, explore the highlights of Georgia’s history and natural resources, and experience what it’s like to be an astronaut or aerospace engineer at the US Space and Rocket Center. Students reflect that friendships and memories made during their off-campus trip experiences last throughout their Middle School years and beyond.
