At SRA, we believe that some of the most meaningful learning experiences happen outside the classroom. In the primary years, Focus Fridays are reserved for enrichment education. Fridays are about evenly divided between day-long STEAM projects, educational field trips, or community/service projects. The schedule is Friday, 8:15-3:30. Many Fridays are spent off-campus, and transportation is usually by school bus, though sometimes we ask parents to drive. The Focus Friday program is the highlight of the week for most students. This program is optional for Kindergarten through 4th grade but is required for middle school students.
